Tarporley Makers Market

On the 8th December we took part in our second Makers Market in Tarporley. The weather was a great improvement on the previous market. The Market was very well attended as it was held on the high street and was part of the village Christmas activities. The whole event kicked off with about 100 people of all ages taking part in a Santa Dash.

For this market we had three new prints added to the collection, A colourful Pheasant produced with coloured pencil, a Scorpion fish in pen and ink on coloured paper and finally a toadstool painted in gouache

The next market we will be attending will be held at Trentham shopping village on 21st December 10.00 – 4.00pm. This will be a special free to enter Christmas themed market showcasing local food, drink, art, crafts and vintage artisans

For those of you who will be visiting the Makers Market in Tarporley on Sunday 8th December.

There will be a Santa dash taking place at 1.00pm there are many runners so come along to support them.

The Market was scheduled to start from 2.30pm however it is likely to start after the Santa dash so around 12.30.

Hope to see you there.

On a dreary and wet Day on the 17th of November we attended our first Makers Market in the lovely village of Tarporley.

The Event was held in the carpark of the Swan Hotel with over 50 different stall holders, selling a very diverse range of products to the public.

The event opened to the public at 11am and continued until 4.0pm as most of the Makers Markets do.  Although the rain persisted most of the day the event was very well attended.

As this was our first Makers Market, we thought the weather would put people off from attending, how wrong we were.

We had a great reaction to the fine art prints on sale on our stall and welcomed the complimentary remarks about the stall and the quality of the Fine art prints on offer.

We are very much looking forward to the next event at Tarporley on the 8th of December, see hope you there.
